March 2005 - A meeting in Toronto, Ontario saw the seamless transition from the the former 6116 to the new National Committee to Reduce Auto Theft (NCRAT).
Twenty-two representatives from police services, provincial and private insurance corporations, the federal government and interested parties nominated a Board of Directors with Barry Ward continuing on as Executive Director, Barry Burch of ICBC as Secretary and acting Chair and Ron Giblin as Treasurer.
A motion was made and moved to adopt bylaws and constitution.
